Mike is a senior commercial adviser with more than 25 years of experience in the energy and professional services sectors. Within the energy sector he has performed executive roles across a range of disciplines, including corporate finance, project management, business development and energy retailing.
Mike’s experience includes senior management roles for power generator Tarong Energy (Stanwell Corporation), where he successfully led and supported major project initiatives, including greenfield and brownfield power station developments, asset acquisitions and divestments, joint ventures, development of fuel resources, and the negotiation of long-term structured energy sales agreements.
Mike is expert in wholesale energy markets, energy retailing and power generation development. He has advised a range of leading Australian utilities and other energy market stakeholders in areas including feasibility assessments, project financial modelling, partnering and joint ventures, market entry strategies, and the establishment of new entrant energy retailing businesses.
